Heart of Santorini
The inspiration behind this residence is attributed to Meis Van der Rohe, particularly the Farnsworth house built between 1945 and 1951 for Dr. Edith Farnsworth as a weekend retreat.
This one-of-a-kind cliff house is an oasis of peaceful extravagance, providing the ideal environment to entertain small groups or slip away into an island paradise. Built directly into the rocky cave walls of Thira, Greece, the free-flowing curvature of every interior wall seems to gently envelop you within the heart-shaped exterior of the home in Thira's ridged bluff.
Entirely flooded with natural light, this spacious one-bedroom, one-and-a-1/2 bathroom abode showcases a panoramic view of The Mediterranean Sea, masterfully displayed through 10-foot floor-to-ceiling walls of glass. Attaining a 180-degree view in the kitchen and a 90-degree view in the bedroom.
Passing through the master bedroom's closet brings you into the primary bathroom, the deepest-set point of the house, reflecting a cave-like sense. The main room and adjacent lounge provide space for unwinding and working on hobbies or entertaining guests.
